Served 1959 -1993. Joined as Junior Seaman becoming a Gunner (Control) and then transferred to Scribe. Ships included Inshore Survey Squadron (Echo, Egeria and Enterprise), Victorious and Intrepid. Stationed in Malta (HMS St Angelo Bahrain (HMS Jufair), HMS Sanderling, HMS Pembroke, HMS Centurion, HMS Nelson, RNDQs. Member of the Gosport Branch of the RNA, HMS St. Vincent and Writer Association. Live in Lee on the Solent with views of the Solent and the Isle of Wight from the top bedroom!
